Operated by craft people, this shopping experience allows the customer
to stroll the hardwood floors of the one-time New York Wire Company
building. They have the opportunity to share the ideas and passions of
the makers, under one roof. The York Merchant will occupy a portion of
the New York Wire Works building, repurposing the industrial experience
with a shopping environment suitable for today’s artisan spirit. We
intend to build a culture of craftsmanship, a respect for all things
found and made, centered in York, PA.
